$1000 and a copy of final draft screenwriting software will be given to the film that the audience recognizes as the most outstanding film of those created for the festival. the filmmaker will also be featured in a future issue of jasper magazine.
$1000 2nd Act PRODUCER’S AWARD
$1000 will be awarded to to the filmmaker that the jasper project feels expressed the most unique voice through their film. this filmmaker will then work with columbia independent filmmaker wade sellers to develop and produce a short film that will be screened at the following years festival. this filmmaker will also be featured in jasper magazine as well as be introduced at arts and filmmaking related events through the year.
$500 2nd Act PRODUCER’S AWARD
$500 and a copy of final draft screenwriting software will be awarded to the winner of the 2nd act filmmaker’s trophy. the 2nd Act Film project Filmmakers Trophy is given to the film that current and previous 2nd Act filmmakers deem the best film of the evening. the filmmaker will also be featured in a future issue of jasper magazine.
all scripts are bound and submitted to the library of congress and all participating filmmakers and their teams will receive a copy of these bound scripts.
